🗺️ Kinrin Lake Park錦大沼公園

Located at the peak of the Tarumae Hill, the comprehensive park is surrounded by magnificent natural landscapes. The park covers an area of 236 hectares, encompassing the areas around Lake Nishiki and Lake Nishiki Small, featuring grassy plazas, a tree garden, and an iris garden. Additionally, there are facilities for hot springs, a car camping site, canoeing, a park golf course, and climbing equipment, providing various options for outdoor activities in nature. There are walking trails around the two lakes, with a loop around Lake Nishiki Small being approximately 1.6 kilometers and around Lake Nishiki Large about 3.5 kilometers. The time required varies from 20 to 50 minutes depending on the route; along the way, there are bridges and observation decks where you can enjoy the rich natural scenery while walking. During the summer, you can canoe on Lake Nishiki Large or admire the irises, and fishing for whitefish is available from late January to late February. The experience of ice fishing on the frozen lake is quite rare. After enjoying various activities, you might want to relax at the open-air hot spring "Yutsubu no Yu" located within the park.
