The Kirishima Factory Garden is a well-known complex facility under the famous Kirishima Distillery. The distillery is renowned throughout Japan for its authentic sweet potato shochu, "Kuro Kirishima." Within the expansive grounds, there are various facilities including a restaurant, shops, a bakery, a museum, and a brewery. The Kirishima Factory Garden offers a variety of recreational activities. Firstly, visitors can participate in the Kirishima Distillery tour called "KIRISHIMA WALK FACTORY," which is held three times a day and lasts for 45 minutes. Guests can closely observe the process of making shochu using a large quantity of sweet potatoes, and they can also taste sweet potatoes and sample shochu, making it a worthwhile experience for those who enjoy drinking. Within the grounds, the "Kiri no Kura Brewery" is a facility that combines craft beer brewing, a restaurant, and shops. Here, visitors can purchase craft beer and enjoy dishes and fine wines made with local specialties from Miyazaki Prefecture. The "Kiri no Kura Bakery," which offers bread and pizza made from sake lees, is also quite popular. There is a dining area where guests can sit down and savor their meals. The grounds feature a "Kirishima Rekkyo Spring," which is essential for brewing Kirishima shochu and Kirishima beer, providing natural water. Visitors can drink the spring water for free or take some home. Additionally, there are numerous attractions such as a golf course and the Kirishima Shochu Shrine, along with a variety of vibrant events held throughout the year.
