In 2022, "Hirakata Green Space" celebrated its 30th anniversary and is the largest park in the city. This beautiful park, built around the Tonda Reservoir in Kitakyushu City, has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Urban Parks in Japan." With the themes of "water-friendly, nature, and interaction with animals," the expansive park features wide grassy areas, a "Tropical Ecology Garden," a "Mini Horse Square," "bicycle paths," and "water play areas," allowing visitors to enjoy a full day of activities. In 2023, a camping site was also opened for use. Surrounded by abundant nature, visitors can appreciate flowers blooming in all four seasons. From mid-February to mid-April, about 200 cherry blossom trees bloom, making it a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing. Additionally, the "Rose Garden," featuring 450 varieties and 2,700 rose plants, is another major highlight. A "Rose Expo" is held during the spring and autumn seasons. The most notable attraction in the park is the "World's Longest Swing," which opened in 2019. Measuring 163.35 meters in length and capable of accommodating up to 100 people, this swing offers different views from various positions and has been certified by the Guinness World Records as the longest swing in the world.

Transfer from JR Chikuho Main Line "Futatsuka" Station to the Kitakyushu City Bus, and get off at "Hibikinada Green Park Entrance" or "Bōbuchi" Station, then walk for about 10 minutes.
