Kyushu Natural Animal Park (AFRICAN SAFARI) is one of the largest wildlife parks in Japan, housing a total of 1,400 animals from 70 different species within its vast grounds. The park features approximately 6 kilometers of safari routes in the "Large Animal Zone," where visitors can either drive their own vehicles or take the park's "Jungle Bus" to observe the animals up close. There is also an "Interactive Area for Small Animals" where visitors can touch and get close to the animals. In the "Large Animal Zone," there are sections for lions, tigers, herbivores, and more, featuring diverse terrains such as mountains, grasslands, and ponds that recreate the animals' natural habitats. Visitors can drive around as many times as they like, while taking the "Jungle Bus" allows them to listen to commentary while watching the animals drawn near by food. Both options have their advantages, but it's important to note that windows cannot be opened, and visitors are not allowed to exit the vehicle in either case. Additionally, in the "Interactive Area for Small Animals," there are small animals like rabbits, as well as kangaroos, guinea pigs, and squirrel monkeys, providing the joy of close interactions with the animals.

In the large animal area, you can see free-range animals from the vehicle. On the jungle bus, you can see the animals right in front of you eating. It is very dangerous, so do not get out of the vehicle or open the windows. It can be very cold when riding the jungle bus in winter, so please remember to wear warm clothing. You can touch small animals in the small animal area.
