The "Maebashi City Central Children's Park LUNA PARK" in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, opened in 1954. It is an amusement park with a sense of history and full of retro charm. Known as "the cheapest amusement park in all of Japan," entry is free. Large rides cost only 50 yen each, while the carousel and smaller rides are an astonishing 10 yen per ride, making it the best choice for young children visiting an amusement park for the first time. Inside the park, there are various nostalgic rides, including a vintage carousel and cars. The newly established wooden four-story maze "TOKOTOKO Maze" (open only on weekdays) is a popular attraction where both adults and children can enjoy together. Special street performances and puppet shows are held on weekends, ensuring fun at any time of visit. Particularly in the summer evenings, a special event called "RUNAPA DE NAITO (るなぱDEないと)" takes place (reservation required), where rides like the flying tower and carousel operate under a magical light display at night. There are also food stalls and alcoholic beverages for adults, allowing both adults and children to have a great time.
