About Silver Hot Spring

On that day, enjoy a relaxing round trip to the famous "Ginsen" of Arima Onsen.

Details

Arima Onsen, a historic hot spring, is one of the "Three Great Ancient Springs of Japan" and is famous for being favored by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The local hot springs feature two types: the reddish-brown "Kinsen" and the colorless, transparent "Ginsen." Visitors can easily enjoy the "Ginsen" at the day-use hot spring facility "Gin no Yu." The water quality of Ginsen is carbonated radon spring, and its clear, colorless water is said to improve nerve pain and joint pain. After soaking, the skin feels moisturized and plump, receiving high praise. The design of the bathhouse is inspired by the rock bath that Taikō Hideyoshi used. In addition to the spacious bath filled with Ginsen, there are also "bubble baths" that release carbonated bubbles to stimulate the body, as well as "dipping baths" and "steam saunas." Amenities such as body wash, conditioner, and hair dryers are fully provided, and towels are available for purchase on-site, making it easy to enjoy a soak even if you come empty-handed. The Japanese-style exterior fits well with the atmosphere of the temple town, which is rich in shrines and temples. Since it is located a bit farther from the main hot spring street, there are relatively fewer crowds, allowing for a more leisurely experience of the hot spring's charm. It is recommended to purchase a two-facility ticket for the sister facility "Kin no Yu," which costs 1,200 yen and allows you to enjoy both types of hot springs.
