Located on the hills facing Lake Shinji, the Hanak鳥 Theme Park features four exhibition greenhouses connected by rooftop walkways, making it an all-weather facility where visitors can enjoy the park regardless of the weather. The main building, "Center House," covers an area of 8,000 square meters, making it the largest greenhouse in Japan. It is home to around 10,000 blooming begonias, bellflowers, and other flowers, allowing visitors to appreciate the enchanting scenery of flowers in full bloom throughout the seasons. The well-known photo spots include the "Happiness Chair" and the giant three-dimensional decoration "Heart of Happiness" made from begonias, which are quite popular among visitors. The park houses a variety of birds from around the world, including over 20 species of owls in the greenhouse, as well as tropical and subtropical birds, waterfowl in the ponds, and large flightless birds like emus. There are also rich performances, including owl and eagle flying shows, adorable penguin walks, and interactive activities where visitors can feed birds and let them perch on their hands. The park features an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of the entire park and Lake Shinji from an altitude of 53 meters. On clear days, it is also possible to see Mount Daisen in the distance.
