About State-run Loo Lake Forest Park
A park where you can enjoy a whole day in the abundant beauty of nature.
Details
Located at the foot of the majestic Zangwang Mountain, Lake Fubang is the only state-run park in the Northeast region. The park is divided into three areas.
The "Southern Area" features beautiful flower fields that bloom with the seasons, as well as the relocated traditional northeastern folk houses, allowing visitors to experience the serene scenery and traditional culture of "Furusato Village (ふるさと村)." In "Warasuko Hiroba (わらすこひろば)," there are large trampolines and rolling slides that children love, along with jungle gym-like play equipment made from thick ropes.
The "Northern Area" is rich in natural beauty, offering camping grounds for outdoor living, a dog exercise area, and grassy squares suitable for picnics.
The third area is the "Satoyama Area," located between the "Southern Area" and the "Northern Area." This area features an exhibition room introducing the nature and culture of satoyama, as well as a workshop where visitors can experience carpentry.
Additionally, there is a rest area inspired by ancient tombs on the mountains in the "Southern Area," where prepared foods and dog-friendly Italian ice cream are sold. After exploring the park, it's a great idea to take a break here.
