Takasuski Ski Park is located on the eastern slope of Mount Dainichidake in Takasu Town, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, and is the largest ski resort in Western Japan. With a peak elevation of 1,550 meters, it is the highest in the area, covered by the exquisite "Takasuski powder snow" that blankets the entire ski area. At Takasuski Ski Park, there are 12 ski trails suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers, including three ultra-long trails of 4,000 meters, offering a variety of experiences. The resort features rich skiing facilities such as a ski U-shaped course, super U-shaped course, giant slope-side trails, and Tree Land. For family travelers, the "Kid Park" is recommended, where both adults and children can enjoy playing in the snow. In addition to sledding and snow tubing, visitors can also experience the fun of riding snowmobiles. Another popular photo spot that has sparked discussions is the "TAKASU TERRACE," which debuted in the winter of 2018 at the summit of the ski area. From the base, visitors can take a 15-person gondola to reach a beach resort-style café with a stunning terrace view. Non-skiers or snowboarders can also use the "gondola round-trip ticket" to access the terrace.
