Yoshinoyama is one of Japan's best cherry blossom viewing spots. Every spring, the cherry blossoms bloom sequentially from the lower slopes at Shimo-senbon to the summit at Oku-senbon, adorning the entire Yoshinoyama in breathtaking beauty.
As spring transitions to summer, the mountains are covered in vibrant hydrangeas, and during the lush summer season, it becomes a healing spot for enjoying forest bathing. In autumn, it is renowned as a scenic spot for viewing autumn leaves. Due to the elevation differences, you can observe a gradient of colors from the mountaintop down. It is recommended to enjoy the autumn foliage while visiting the World Heritage site of Kinpusen-ji Temple and its historic precincts, relishing the pleasures of hiking in the countryside. Getting There
Take the shuttle bus from Kansai International Airport to Yamato-Yagi. Transfer to the Kintetsu Limited Express to Yoshino Station. The total travel time is about 2 hours.
