🗺️ Asahimachi Funakawa Haru no Shijuusou (Asahimachi Funakawa Spring Quartet)あさひ舟川 春の四重奏

Asahi Town Funakawa's "Spring Quartet" is a breathtaking scenery composed of the North Alps covered in lingering snow, cherry blossom trees along the Funakawa riverbank, vibrant tulips, and golden rapeseed flowers. It is the most popular attraction in Asahi Town, Toyama Prefecture, and is celebrated as a springtime spectacle. The 280 cherry blossom trees blooming along the 1,200-meter riverbank of Funakawa were planted and carefully maintained by the local residents. To coincide with the cherry blossoms' blooming period, early-blooming tulip varieties that were originally planted in the area were also cultivated. Additionally, rapeseed flowers, used for producing canola oil, were planted, creating this spectacular view. Since these are all natural plants, it is possible that one type may not be visible, embodying the concept of "ichigo ichie," which deeply imprints the scene encountered at that moment in one's memory. Moreover, in the Funakawa area of Asahi Town, fireflies can be seen in the summer, and in the autumn, the spider lily blooms. Visitors can also enjoy rice paddy art, showcasing different aspects of nature throughout the four seasons, ensuring that tourists can feast their eyes at any time of the year.
