The Uminonakamichi Firefly Rest Area is located in the middle of the "Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line," which connects central Tokyo and the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture. It is a parking lot and rest area built on an artificial island, with a total length of about 650 meters. The Uminonakamichi Firefly Rest Area is quite spacious, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the ocean, local delicacies made from regional ingredients, and a wide range of shopping facilities. From evening until nightfall, visitors can leisurely enjoy the poetic scenery of the sunset gradually sinking below the horizon, as well as gaze across the sea at the sparkling city nightscape, making it a romantic dating spot.
