🗺️ Sayama Ski Resort狭山スキー場

Located at Seibu Railway's "Seibu Kyūjō-mae" Station, Sayama Ski Resort is an all-weather ski area that is 300 meters long and 30 meters wide, featuring a canopy for year-round enjoyment. It is easily accessible from the city, allowing visitors to enjoy snowboarding and skiing without being affected by weather conditions. Recently renovated and reopened in 2020, the resort is equipped with two snow conveyor belts measuring 110 meters long by 1 meter wide, and 84 meters long by 1 meter wide. One of its highlights is the capacity to transport up to 3,600 people per hour, making it easy to reach the top of the slope. In 2022, the resort introduced new artificial snow machines that create a soft snow quality similar to natural snow, ensuring excellent snow conditions at all times. The "Ice and Snow Paradise," which is perfect for families to enjoy snow activities together, hosts various events such as "Snow Treasure Hunt" and snowball fights with the resort's mascot, "RANGER." The "FUWAFUWA" area also features inflatable play equipment and other facilities, providing even more fun for family visitors. Additionally, the resort offers overnight operations on Fridays and Saturdays from December 6 to 21 each year, along with equipment rental services. Visitors can come empty-handed, ski all night until dawn, and then catch the first train home.
