📖 Kyoto Tachibana High School Wind Ensemble

The Kyoto Tachibana High School Wind Ensemble was established in 1961. Their exceptional performance skills, surpassing those expected of high school students, and outstanding parade performance techniques have received high praise, along with numerous opportunities to perform with top artists. The orange uniforms, which have been passed down for over half a century, have become a significant symbol, and due to their visually striking appearance, they are nicknamed the "Orange Devils." In recent years, they have frequently been invited to perform abroad, and in 2022, they even performed at the Taiwan National Day celebration, known as "Double Tenth Day." Their powerful live performances and dazzling dances, reminiscent of an orange whirlwind, drove the audience wild, and the event received extensive coverage from television programs, capturing the attention of various sectors and stunning all of Taiwan. Including regular concerts, the Wind Ensemble holds approximately 70 performances and various activities throughout the year. They have sparked a social phenomenon in Taiwan, and their performances, which are highly praised worldwide, are definitely worth seeing.
