🍜 Senjōtei

📝 Introduction

You can taste the high-quality Ōmi beef that has been raised for about 30 months in our own farm.

📖 Details

In 1957, "Chinari-tei" was established in Hashimoto-cho, Hikone City, the birthplace of Omi beef. During the Edo period, Omi beef was known as "Hikone beef" and was considered a medicinal ingredient during the period of beef prohibition. It is the oldest breed in Japan. The founding of Chinari-tei was based on the desire "to allow more people to taste the deliciousness of Omi beef and to pass it on to the next generation." In 2008, Chinari-tei also established Chinari-tei Farm, adopting a consistent approach from the production and sale of beef to dining. The extremely delicate and excellent flavor of the meat is the restaurant's proudest selling point. Currently, there are 11 branches within Shiga Prefecture. The restaurant is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Chinari-tei building. From the famous signature dish "Gyutoro Sushi" to sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and steak, all are highly praised. Chinari-tei's lunch menu is also quite popular, featuring the "Omi Beef Sukiyaki Lunch Set," which includes seasonal side dishes, Omi beef shoulder loin, a raw egg, white rice, clear soup, and pickles, and the "Omi Beef KANOKO Hamburger Lunch Set," which includes Omi beef hamburger, soup, mini salad, white rice, and dessert, both of which are the most popular options.
