🗺️ Bottom Beach

Biti Beach is a popular attraction on Ishigaki Island and is also a nationally designated scenic spot, located about a 10-minute drive from Kabira Bay. After passing through a grove of evergreen Casuarina trees, you will see the azure sea and a beautiful crescent-shaped white beach stretching about 1 kilometer. This shallow area within the bay has calm waves throughout the day. During the summer, the beach features a waterproof net for safety and has lifeguards on duty, allowing young children to play in the water with peace of mind. The water is clear and transparent, making kayaking activities to observe corals, tropical fish, and sea turtles quite popular. Hotels along the beach offer various water activities such as jet skiing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), which are also available to non-staying guests. Since the area around the Ishizaki Peninsula is renowned for diving, the chances of encountering manta rays (Manta birostris) are very high. Located on the western side of the island, Biti Beach is also a famous spot for watching sunsets. After the sun sets below the horizon, you can enjoy a sky full of bright stars.
