The observation deck located next to the starting station "Unazuki Station" of the Kurobe Gorge Railway, which the small train passes through. Directly below, you can see the small train traveling over the red bridge "Shin-Yamabiko Bridge." Many photos capturing the moment when the small train emerges from the tunnel are taken here and often appear in posters and other materials related to Kurobe Gorge. The observation deck is not far from the railway, allowing you to hear the sounds of the small train, its whistle, and the announcements played inside the train. From the observation deck, you can not only see the Shin-Yamabiko Bridge but also enjoy a panoramic view of the Kurobe River and the streets of Unazuki Onsen.
