About Pu'er Tea Cuisine Bon

Details
Pucha cuisine is a type of vegetarian cuisine. It is said that over three hundred years ago, during the Ming Dynasty in China, Zen Master Ingen introduced this cuisine to Japan while building the Obakusan Manpuku-ji temple in Uji, Kyoto. The term "Pucha" is believed to mean "tea provided for the general public," and after a tea ceremony with participants, it was developed into a kaiseki meal based on the spirit of dietary equality and the traditional dining etiquette of the Ming Dynasty. At "Pucha Cuisine Bon," you can enjoy Pucha dishes that emphasize the Zen heart of Obaku Pucha, prepared using exclusive cooking methods that reflect the four seasons. This long-standing healthy cuisine satisfies both body and mind.
The restaurant has private rooms available for 2 to 40 guests. Not only can you choose according to various needs, but it also offers sunken kotatsu tables and tatami seating, making it especially recommended for international travelers.
