🍜 Takaosan Takahashi Family

📝 Introduction

In a historic building, savor the rich aroma of specially made soba noodles.

📖 Details

Located on the way from Keio Line's "Takaosan-guchi Station" to the cable car "Kiyotaki Station," Takahashiya is a popular spot that often has long lines on weekends when many hikers visit. The soba noodles at Takaosan are generally thick, but Takahashiya offers thin soba noodles that have the right amount of chewiness. It is said that they are made with 60% buckwheat flour, yam, and high-quality wheat flour. For those who enjoy a rich buckwheat aroma, it is recommended to order the "Takezuri Soba" (竹篩蕎麦). In addition to being enjoyed with dipping sauce, it can also be paired with a bit of wasabi, enhancing the aroma and allowing you to savor the original flavor of the buckwheat. You can fill your stomach before hiking or relax afterward while enjoying soba noodles and side dishes. Enjoy the specially crafted delicious soba noodles in this uniquely charming establishment.
