🗺️ Arashiyama Observation Deck (Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture)

Located about 25 minutes by car from the northern part of Okinawa's main island in Nago City, this viewpoint offers a stunning view of the small islands connected like a string in the tranquil sea. From the second-floor observation deck of the building, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the lush islands and the strikingly beautiful contrast with Okinawa's unique blue ocean. Known as one of the "Eight Scenic Views of Okinawa," the area referred to as "Okinawa's Setouchi Sea," features islands such as Kouri Island and Yagaji Island, where the coastline is lined with white sandy beaches. The gradient of pure white sand interwoven with the beautiful deep blue sea is a must-see sight in Okinawa. If the timing is right, you can also enjoy the scenery illuminated by the sunset, and on clear days, you can gaze into the distance at "Kouri Bridge," "Iheyajima," and "Izenajima." The second-floor observation deck is open 24 hours for free access.
