Kyoto has many long-established dessert shops, and the competition is fierce. What made "Goyatsu" famous is its "Senju Senbei." Since its launch in 1963, it has not only been a souvenir from Kyoto but has also become a long-selling product nationwide for over half a century. In pursuit of even better taste, the "Premium Senju Senbei" was introduced in 2022. The Senju Senbei is made using imported German machinery, breaking the conventional framework of Japanese sweets. The wavy-shaped cookies are filled with cream, which is widely loved by customers. The "Premium Senju Senbei," launched in pursuit of the best flavor, took four years to complete. The filling's sugar butter is enhanced with condensed milk, giving it a rich and creamy texture. The outer cookie uses the renowned flour "Bokasa." Combining two types of domestic flour with rich butter makes the texture lighter and melt-in-your-mouth, while coarse sugar in the dough creates a new sensation of "crispy and crunchy." The Premium Senju Senbei retains the original wavy shape, and one bite reveals the distinct difference from the regular Senju Senbei.

The Chitose Senbei, which breaks the traditional framework of Japanese sweets, is a signature product of the Kyoto confectionery shop Goyuk. This long-selling product, which has been on the market for over half a century, has now been upgraded. The dough is made with brand-name flour and rich butter.
