Japan's first official "museum exclusively for children." It is an experiential museum where children can engage with their favorite games through visual and tactile experiences. Inside, there are many exhibits that allow for play and learning, as well as various hands-on workshops where visitors can explore the wonders of science and learn about different cultures and games. The museum's volunteers guide visitors in discovering and engaging with the exhibits, providing support for children's learning. In the "Children's Town" created by Austrian artist Hundertwasser, there are many messages to convey to children, and it is his only indoor work in Japan. The museum features suspension bridges, slides, and other activities that encourage physical movement and play. On the 5th floor, the "Try It Out Zone" allows visitors to learn about generating electricity or creating giant bubbles that envelop themselves, enabling learning about science and social knowledge through play. In addition to permanent exhibits, there are year-round experiential courses and special events, offering a rich variety of content. There are always new discoveries to be made, attracting many repeat visitors. The facility operates year-round, unaffected by rainy days or extreme heat, allowing for play whenever one desires.
