It is famous for its many local delicacies, including "Yuzu Salt Ramen," which uses both the peel and juice of Motegi yuzu, and authentic hand-made soba noodles made from Motegi buckwheat flour. At "Ring Cake Workshop Yuzuki," you can enjoy soft ring cakes made from locally sourced rice flour, which are freshly baked on-site and available for takeout. Don't miss the handmade ice cream made from fresh ingredients like strawberries and yuzu sourced from nearby farms. In the "Jisshoku River Park," where flowers bloom in every season, there are play equipment shaped like steam trains, which is quite popular among families. On weekends, visitors can also enjoy a close-up view of steam trains passing by on the Moka Railway from within the park.

There is a rich variety of local cuisine at the rest area where you can enjoy a whole day. The Baumkuchen made from Mogi rice flour and the handmade ice cream made with local ingredients are particularly popular. On weekends, you can also get a close-up view of the spectacular sight of steam trains running between Shimodate Station and Mogi Station.
