📖 Details
Fukushima's "Kitakata Ramen," along with Fukuoka's "Hakata Ramen" and Hokkaido's "Sapporo Ramen," is known as one of the "Three Great Ramens of Japan." The history of Kitakata Ramen is said to have originated in the early Showa period when a young man from China brought noodle dishes to Japan, selling them from a small cart in Kitakata City. Its characteristic feature is the "handmade flat, aged noodles with extra water," which have a chewy texture and curl.
"Kitakata Ramen Sakanai" inherits the flavor of one of the three major Kitakata Ramen establishments, "Sakanai Shokudo." The founder trained at Sakanai Shokudo and opened this ramen shop with the philosophy of "wanting more people to taste the flavor of Sakanai Shokudo," continuing the brand legacy.
The labor-intensive broth is rich in pork bone flavor, with a refreshing and layered clear soup that one can enjoy every day without getting tired of it. The curly noodles can evenly soak up the broth, allowing one to taste the rich flavor of the soup.
The takeout ramen set uses the same fresh noodles and broth as in the restaurant, and it also includes soft, juicy chashu that can be heated and eaten. Available in servings for two, four, six, or ten, it can be purchased according to your needs, allowing you to enjoy the same delicious ramen at home as in the restaurant.
