One of the top sightseeing spots in Moji Port. This striking skyscraper by the renowned Japanese architect Kenzō Tange features an observation room with glass walls on the top floor, offering a panoramic view from 103 meters above the ground.
Taking the direct elevator to the 31st floor, visitors can enjoy a full view of the surrounding scenery of the Kanmon Straits, including the Kanmon Bridge, ships passing through the strait, and the historic streets of Moji Port. The digital telescopes set up in the observation room allow for a closer look at the Takato Market and the streets of Shimonoseki, as if they are within reach. After sunset, historical buildings like the Old Moji Customs and the Old Osaka Shosen are illuminated in orange light, making the night in Moji Port particularly striking. The local night view has been designated as a "Japanese Night View Heritage," making it a very popular dating spot.
