Tottori Sand Dunes is a popular tourist attraction in the area, with its magnificent scenery making visitors forget they are in Japan. The "Sand Dune Center - Miharu Hill" is a complex facility located next to the Tottori Sand Dunes. Situated on a high ground that overlooks the dunes, it features restaurants and shops, making it not only a base for sand dune sightseeing but also a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the dunes. In the restaurant, you can enjoy rice bowls topped with a variety of signature seafood, as well as dishes made with local Tottori ingredients such as Daisen chicken and 20th Century pears. The Tottori local ramen, made with a beef bone broth, and mixed noodles are also very popular. The souvenir shop offers a wide range of snacks and selected Tottori specialty products. The observation deck on the top floor of the restaurant and the spacious event space "Dune Terrace" provide stunning views of the Tottori Sand Dunes and the Sea of Japan. Next to the Dune Terrace is the boarding area for the sightseeing cable car. Riding the cable car, you can glide through the forest and reach the entrance of the sand dunes in just five minutes.
