🎨 Restaurant Gallery
📝 Introduction
A super popular restaurant that serves the famous Asakusa dish, shrimp tempura donburi.
📖 Details
Daiheiya Tempura opened in 1887 and has long been loved by locals and travelers from around the world for its signature dish, the “Ebi Ten Don” (fried shrimp tempura rice bowl) from Asakusa. Its greatest feature is that the tempura is fried to a golden color using pure sesame oil, and its unique secret sauce is also a major draw. The rich, flavorful sauce, which is both salty and sweet, has remained unchanged since the restaurant's founding. The tempura rice bowl comes in various types depending on the ingredients, with the "Ebi Ten Don" topped with four large fried shrimp said to be the most popular. In addition to tempura rice bowls, the restaurant also offers a menu with many options for ordering tempura a la carte.
⭐ Highlights
Daiheki, a hundred-year-old tempura restaurant, is known for its tempura rice bowl, which is a representative delicacy of Asakusa. It also offers a variety of exquisite à la carte dishes.
