🍜 Onomichi Ramen Ichibankan

📝 Introduction

A ramen shop that gained popularity through online sales.

📖 Details

Onomichi Ramen Ichibankan is a specialty shop for Onomichi ramen, located in front of Sumiyoshi Shrine along the Onomichi coastal road. Initially, it primarily operated through online sales, which garnered significant attention. Later, the ramen shop was established. The noodles are handmade, matured noodles that particularly absorb the broth well. A notable feature is that they do not easily become soggy, maintaining their firmness until the last bite. The rich soy sauce-flavored broth is also very delicious. The broth is based on pork bones, chicken carcasses, and vegetables, with the addition of seafood such as small fish from the Seto Inland Sea to enhance the flavor, and a generous amount of pork back fat, which is characteristic of Onomichi ramen. The signature dish is the Kakuni Ramen. The bowl is filled with large chunks of tender and soft braised pork belly and vegetables. Customers with a larger appetite can pay extra for a larger bowl. Additionally, a value set meal that includes gyoza is also offered.
