🗺️ Sunrise Park Lavender Garden

The park, which covers an area of 4.2 hectares, is renowned for its lavender fields. From late June to late July, the entire hillside is blanketed with lavender, and the gentle breeze sways the purple sea of flowers, filling the air with a refreshing fragrance that is intoxicating. The park primarily cultivates late-blooming varieties of lavender, so even if you visit later in the blooming season, you can still enjoy the spectacular views of the lavender fields. In addition to lavender, various beautiful seasonal flowers such as catnip and marigolds are also planted. To the west, you can gaze upon the lavender fields, while to the east, there is a viewing platform overlooking the Tokachi mountain range, where the "Bell of Love" is located. It is said that couples who make their love vows here can have their wishes fulfilled. The sight of the pure white archway bell standing amidst the vast purple lavender fields is incredibly romantic, and weddings can also be held here. The park is equipped with camping areas, including a car camping site and cabins, as well as facilities for physical activities, and is open daily except during the winter closure period.
