🗺️ Nago Castle Park (Nago Central Park)

Located about a 10-minute drive from Nago City, Okinawa Prefectural Natural Park is centered around the area of Nago-dake in Nago City. Within the gently rolling forest of the park, there are 12 areas where you can experience the richness of nature, along with a large scenic tower, rest areas, and restrooms, making it a great starting point for hiking Nago-dake or taking a stroll. The "Flower and Tree Appreciation Area" allows for leisurely walks among the gently rolling woods, while the "Historical Nature Area" offers opportunities to observe rare birds and plants thriving in the abundant nature of Nago-dake. In the "Hiking Area," visitors can enjoy ground golf or hiking on the grassy terrain, and the "Playground" features equipment and water channels for children to play. Additionally, the ruins of Nago Castle within the park are a well-known spot for the grand cherry blossom festival held in Okinawa Prefecture. The visitor center "subaco" in the park sells local souvenirs and exclusive drinks. The park also has a parking lot, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Nago.
