The cable car is the most popular means of transportation for worshippers visiting "Shikoku's 88 Sacred Sites," specifically the 66th temple, Yunbenji. Additionally, the temple houses a statue of Kannon with a thousand hands and eyes (an Important Cultural Property) built during the Heian period, along with numerous statues of the 500 Arhats scattered throughout the grounds, all of which are worth seeing.
