⛩️ Yasui Konpiragu Shrine

📝 Introduction

The highly effective "Anzui Konpira-san" for cutting off bad relationships and establishing good ones.

📖 Details

Anshinji Konpira Shrine in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City, is dedicated to Emperor Shōtoku, Minamoto no Yorimasa, and the great deity Ōmononushi, who was invited from Kagawa's Konpira Shrine. Since ancient times, it has been affectionately referred to by the public as "Anshinji Konpira-san." This "Evil Relationship-Cutting Shrine" is most popular for its "Evil Relationship-Cutting and Good Relationship-Building Stone Tablet" located within the shrine grounds. This large stone, approximately 1.5 meters high and 3 meters wide, shaped like an ema (votive tablet), is believed to possess the power to sever bad relationships and foster good ones. The steps for worship involve first paying respects at the main hall, then writing down wishes on a piece of paper called "kagami (a substitute for oneself)," before proceeding to the stone tablet. While silently reciting their wishes, visitors pass through a cave in front to temporarily sever bad relationships, and then pass back through the cave from behind to establish good relationships. Finally, they affix the kagami to the stone tablet to complete the ritual. The stone tablet is covered with countless kagami, showcasing its popularity as a must-visit energy spot.
