📝 Introduction

📖 Details
Juushitsu no Oka (就實之丘) is a beautiful undulating hill known for its stunning views that encompass the Daisetsuzan National Park, stretching from the northern peak of Aibetsu-dake to the southern peak of Minami Furano-dake, covering approximately 60 kilometers. It is said that the name "Juushitsu no Oka" was given by a local photographer, as this location offers a panoramic view of the seemingly endless rural roads that weave through picturesque countryside, showcasing the unique vast landscape of Hokkaido.
From the hill, one can enjoy beautiful pastoral scenery, as well as distant views of Asahikawa Airport, the streets of Biei, and the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Additionally, some sections of the road have steep ascents and descents, likened to a roller coaster; due to its scenic beauty, it has become a popular filming location for television dramas, significantly increasing its recognition.
Since the location is off the national highway and surrounded by farmland, it has not been developed as a tourist site, so there are no facilities such as restrooms, parking lots, or shops. Visitors should pay special attention to this aspect. Furthermore, there are no signboards in the area, which has led many tourists to get lost on the farm roads, so it is advisable to check the route in advance before setting out.
