🗺️ Manabe Garden

Manabo Garden, located in Tokachi, Hokkaido, is a sprawling 5,000-tsubo stroll garden known for its fairy-tale-like atmosphere. Managed by Manabo Garden Nursery, which is responsible for the import, production, and sale of trees, the garden opened to the public in 1966. Since its opening, the collection of trees gathered here has significant ornamental value, allowing visitors to observe the growth process of thousands of plant species, while also serving a display hall-like function. The garden is divided into three main themed areas: "Japanese Garden," "European Garden," and "Landscape Garden." As you walk through each garden, you can see various unique landscapes, and occasionally spot Ezo squirrels and wild birds. From June to July, the blooming season for water lilies, beach pear flowers, and Ezo hydrangeas adds an extra touch of fairy-tale charm, making it the best time for photography. After a stroll through the garden, you can visit the horticultural center to purchase rare gardening varieties or relax on the coffee terrace while enjoying afternoon tea, spending a soothing and leisurely time.

The attached horticultural center offers rare horticultural varieties for purchase. There is also a café where you can relax amidst the greenery of the plants.
