🍜 Menya Musashi Bukotsu Gaiden (麺屋武蔵・武骨外伝)

📝 Introduction

An exquisitely delicious tsukemen with a rich soup, a famous ramen shop in Shibuya.

📖 Details

Located near Shibuya Station, "Menya Musashi Bukotsu Gaidan" is an authentic ramen shop that specializes in dipping noodles (tsukemen). The restaurant carries on the tradition of the popular ramen shop "Menya Musashi," frequently offering creative and innovative ramen dishes that cannot be found in other ramen restaurants. When ordering their signature dipping noodles, customers can choose from two types of broth. One is a basic broth made with a combination of chicken and pork bone stocks, enhanced with seafood ingredients like crab and dried fish. The other is a rich broth made by adding dried bonito flakes to the basic broth. They also offer three types of dipping sauces: black (special soy sauce), red (special spicy miso), and white (no sauce added). The chewy noodles and tender chashu pork are key to the restaurant's popularity.

⭐ Highlights

The most popular dish is the "Nokonaka Outen Black Dipping Noodles" (濃厚外伝黒沾麺). It's recommended to add shichimi togarashi (七味唐辛子) or yuzu vinegar (柚子酢) to change up the flavors. In addition to dipping noodles, regular ramen (ラーメン) is also available.
