Located in the bustling Tenjin area of Fukuoka City, with a total area of approximately 31,000 square meters, this park serves as a leisure spot for the people of Fukuoka. Within the park, there are impressive stone columns from the old prefectural office, a grand "Fountain Plaza," and a spacious "Lawn Plaza" suitable for picnics or afternoon naps, as well as freely accessible horizontal bars for hanging or swinging, allowing visitors to enjoy a relaxed time. The "Guest House," which was used as a reception venue during the Meiji era, is a two-story wooden building in the French Renaissance style and is now open for public viewing. This classical building, designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, houses a café where visitors can enjoy drinks or alcoholic beverages while immersing themselves in the retro atmosphere. Additionally, the dining facility "HARENO GARDEN EAST&WEST," located in the Nishinakasu area, features four shops including a bakery, café, and Italian restaurant, attracting a lively crowd. Tenjin Central Park is also a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, where the cherry trees along the Nakagawa River bloom with delicate spring colors in the spring, drawing large numbers of flower-viewing tourists.
