On the mountain, there is the Kashima Onko Shrine, one of the ten shrines dedicated to the war god. Additionally, this area is also renowned for cherry blossom and azalea viewing, with nighttime illuminations during the cherry blossom season, providing a feast for the eyes for many flower-viewing visitors.
