🗺️ KAWASUI Kawasaki Aquarium

The aquarium located in the commercial facility "Kawasaki Le FRONT" in front of Kawasaki Station is home to about 300 species of aquatic life, including diverse organisms that inhabit various environments such as the Tama River in Kawasaki City, as well as regions in Asia, Africa, and the Amazon rainforest in South America. The exhibits utilize cutting-edge lighting, sound, and digital imaging technology, and they change in a distinctive way with the time of day. The facility consists of six exhibition areas, starting with the Tama River area, which helps visitors understand the local ecosystem. This is followed by the Oceania and Asia area, where visitors are greeted by sugar gliders, and the Africa area, which showcases a variety of fascinating ecological fish species, before moving on to the Amazon area, which features a waterside playground. Additionally, in the Aqua Lab area, visitors can tour the aquarium's backstage, and the exhibit system that uses AI to analyze real-time footage from underwater cameras is also worth seeing. The facility includes an official store and café, as well as a cat café where visitors can play with cats.
