📝 Introduction

Three lakes with different charms, gameplay, and features.

📖 Details

The Nishina Three Lakes, located in Nagano Prefecture, consist of Lake Aoki, Lake Nakazuna, and Lake Kizaki. The largest of the three, Lake Aoki, offers beautiful seasonal views, featuring cherry blossoms in spring and fireflies in early summer. In particular, the autumn scenery, where the lake, autumn leaves, and the three mountains of Hakuba create a stunning landscape, is highly recommended. Lake Nakazuna, located on the southern side of Lake Aoki, is famous for its high perch fishing. The annual fishing tournament held in June attracts fishing enthusiasts from all over the country, highlighting its popularity. Due to the lake's smaller size, many tourists come to photograph the beautiful reflection of cherry blossoms on the lake's surface during the blooming season. In winter, when the entire lake freezes over, ice fishing for smelt is held. Lake Kizaki, located at the southernmost point, has shallow waters and relatively warmer temperatures, making it a popular spot for water activities. Various experiences such as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and fishing are available, and from June to early July, visitors can also enjoy the sight of water lilies. The Nishina Three Lakes can be considered a hub for various water activities, offering different ways to enjoy the area.
