📖 Details

OH!!!~The Magic of Fermentation, Health, and Diet!!!~is a food-themed park centered around the concept of "発酵" (fermentation). It was established by a company that has been producing pickles and Japanese-style pickled vegetables since its founding in 1977. For a long time, fermented foods have been essential side dishes on Japanese tables, supporting the healthy lives of the Japanese people for many years. Fermented foods are considered to have benefits for improving gut health and boosting immunity, and here you can experience the magic of fermented foods through amazing experiences. Within the park, "Femy_" is a restaurant featuring a large charcoal oven. It offers dishes cooked with seasonal ingredients and incorporates fermentation techniques, which are very beneficial for health. "Piene Café" is a lactic acid bacteria café where you can enjoy many delicious cooked dishes and desserts made with lactic acid bacteria and sake yeast, enhancing the flavor of vegetables. One of the café's charms is its commitment to using domestically produced ingredients from Japan, without any white sugar or food additives. The "parishaki研究所" (parishaki Institute) is a facility where you can actually experience making fermented foods and often hosts various seminars related to fermentation. Visitors can take home the fermented foods they make during the experience activities as souvenirs. Additionally, the shop "八幡屋" (Yahata-ya) mainly sells domestically produced pickles that do not contain food additives, as well as fresh vegetables locally sourced. Through tasting and hands-on production activities, you can learn more about fermentation, feel the magic of fermentation, and raise awareness of using fermented foods to improve internal health and environmental consciousness.
