🗺️ Ura-Sando Garden

📝 Introduction

In the old traditional houses located in the back alleys of Omotesando, several Japanese dessert cafes are gathered.

📖 Details

Located in the back alley near the main street Omotesando, this complex aims to promote Japanese cuisine and culture. It has renovated a traditional house built in Showa 22 (1947) to include a café where you can enjoy Japanese sweets and a space for various events. The first floor of the traditional house is a food plaza, featuring several cafés offering Japanese menus arranged in a style reminiscent of a narrow alley. Guests can purchase desserts or drinks from different shops and choose to enjoy them either inside the store or at the open terrace seating. There are four shops in the food plaza. These include "Uji-en," a specialty Japanese tea shop from Kyoto, "Ajikan CLUB," which offers original desserts, "Riz Labo Kitchen," serving gluten-free rice flour cakes, and "Yin Urasando," a medicinal herb café managed by an acupuncturist and a herbal nutritionist. The entire second floor serves as an event space, showcasing a Japanese aesthetic style and frequently hosting exhibitions and cultural activities.
