🗺️ Zao Heart Land

Located at the foot of the Zao Mountain Range in the central part of the Tohoku region, this vast pasture covers an area of about 20 Tokyo Domes (approximately 100 hectares). On the endless grasslands, sheep and goats live leisurely. The animals, combined with the tranquil natural scenery, provide an excellent healing effect. After enjoying the soothing presence of the animals, it is recommended to indulge in fresh ingredients. The HEART LAND experience center offers a variety of convenient take-out meals, including ice cream. You can also participate in experiential activities to make cheese or ice cream using ingredients harvested from the farm (reservation required). The special taste of what you make yourself is sure to create wonderful travel memories. Additionally, about 2 kilometers ahead near the "Zao Cheese Factory," there are places like "Cheese Shed," which offers rich meals made with Zao cheese, and the "Cheese House," famous for its cheese teppanyaki "Lacronet." The abundance of delicious meals makes it hard to choose.
