The science museum located within the complex facility "Ropponmatsu 421," which houses various shops and the Kyushu University Law School, is designed with the concept of "nurturing talent and designing the future." It is a facility that aims to make both adults and children fall in love with science. The basic exhibition hall on the 5th floor is divided into areas such as "Universe," "Life," "Living," and "Environment," focusing on interactive exhibits. Visitors can gain a deeper understanding of science through scientific performances and hands-on experiences. In 2023, some exhibits were updated, including the addition of "FUKUOKA FIELD," which recreates the natural environment of Fukuoka with three-dimensional models, and the "SC Theater," which offers digital experiences through large screens and touch screens. The dome theater (planetarium) on the 6th floor screens immersive films. In addition to regular programming, various planetarium-specific events are held, including concerts that combine live performances by artists with special films. The "Science Navigation" area on the 4th floor features a collection of thousands of books and videos, making it a great place for those looking to deepen their knowledge or for parents bringing their children.

A: Tickets for the basic exhibition room on the 5th floor must be presented, and entry is unlimited for the day.
