🗺️ Kanno Farm

📝 Introduction

In the scenic farms along the national highway, one can be captivated by the breathtaking view of fields filled with purple lavender and seasonal flowers.

📖 Details

Starting from Asahikawa City, along National Route 237 passing through Biei Town and Furano City to reach Kamikawa Village, this area is known as the "Flower Person Street" due to its vast terrain and abundance of flower fields, making it a highly popular attraction. "Kanno Farm" is also located along the Flower Person Street and is a sightseeing farm where visitors can enter for free to enjoy seasonal flowers. During the park's open season, over 30 types of flowers, including irises, butterfly flowers, and broom grass, bloom from mid-June to mid-October. The most beloved flower is the lavender, which blooms from early morning to late evening and comes in various varieties. Due to differences in altitude and other conditions, the lavender at the farm has a later viewing period compared to that in the center of Furano City. Starting in early July, the gentle slopes are covered in a layer of purple, and depending on the weather, the vibrant and fragrant purple flower sea can even be seen until early August. Additionally, the farm's shop sells lavender goods such as fragrance products and dried flowers, as well as original farm products. The farm also offers a rich selection of meals, including freshly harvested potatoes, white corn, and farm-direct ice cream.
