🗺️ Shuichang Plateau Ski Resort

The ski resort spans an impressive 2 million tsubo and features 12 ski trails that cater to both advanced and beginner skiers. Surrounded by Japanese larch trees, the area is filled with a romantic atmosphere. At an elevation of 1,248 meters, the highest point offers the best vantage point to overlook the Tanigawa mountain range, Oze, and Mount Asama. The "Kumabokkosu Course (熊ぼっこすコース)," suitable for advanced skiers, is an ungroomed trail where you can enjoy natural slopes and powder snow. There are also trails where you can ski while playing, such as the "Forest Adventure," which winds through Japanese larch and birch forests, and the "KIDS SLALOM," where you can happily glide around markers. Beginners might want to try the shorter "Okirikomi (おっきりこみ) Course" or the "Suisui (すいすい) Family Course." If you have young children with you, it's recommended to visit the "Kinder Garden (キンダーガーテン)" and the "Snow Playground (スノーパレット)." Additionally, there are various exciting snow activities available, including Japan's only dog sledding experience, snow rafting, and snow tubing. The area also features the "Mizukami Kogen Hotel 200," which offers accommodations and single-use hot spring access.
