Additionally, it was the site of the opening ceremony for the 2019 Rugby World Cup and has hosted concerts by heavyweight artists from both domestic and international backgrounds. The stands are divided into upper and lower sections, accommodating approximately 50,000 spectators. About three-quarters of the stadium's seating is covered by a circular roof, allowing for comfortable viewing even on rainy days, which has garnered much attention.
