📝 Introduction

📖 Details

Club HARIE J'oublie le temps, known for its stunning café views, is a bakery created by Club Harrier, which primarily specializes in Baumkuchen and other Western pastries. Chef Imai has won a gold medal in a bread competition. Every step of the bread-making process, from selecting ingredients, yeast, fermentation, to baking, is meticulously crafted to perfection without any shortcuts. The variety of breads is quite rich, including European bread, side breads, sweet breads, and toast. The rigor of the baking process is evident. The materials for the workshop's stone oven are imported from Spain and assembled by Spanish craftsmen. The infrared rays emitted from the fireproof red bricks of the stone oven heat the bread from the center, allowing for a crispy exterior and soft interior. You can enjoy freshly purchased bread on the terrace seating on the first floor or on the deck on the second floor. The second-floor deck offers a panoramic view of Lake Biwa, allowing you to fully enjoy the vacation atmosphere. The second floor features a café that offers exclusive desserts such as hot-pressed sandwiches made with Omi chicken and seasonal vegetables, scone sandwiches, or Baumkuchen soup. You can spend a leisurely time in this lakeside bakery and café.
