🗺️ Fukushima Park Monzura Techno Rose Garden

In 1971, a rose garden opened in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, which has the rose as its "city flower." The garden features approximately 600 varieties and 7,000 rose plants, with spring and autumn being the best viewing seasons each year. It includes an ancient rose area filled with historical significance and a modern rose area categorized by country of origin, each with its own unique characteristics, making it an irresistible destination for rose enthusiasts. Among the highlights is the Maebashi-exclusive variety "Akagi Kōki." As the flowers begin to bloom, the petals transition from yellow to orange and red, creating a stunning appearance. The newly established "Fragrance Garden" area, created in 2019, is also worth recommending. This area features roses with seven different fragrances, allowing visitors to compare the differences and find their favorite scent. Every spring (from mid-May to early June) and autumn (from late October to mid-November), the "Rose Garden Festival" is held, featuring concerts, the sale of rose seedlings, and rose-related products, creating a lively atmosphere. At night, the garden is illuminated, allowing visitors to appreciate the dreamlike beauty of the roses.
