🗺️ Nikko Monkey Park

The Nikko Monkey Park in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, is a theme park centered around the themes of "watching, playing, and interacting." The facility was renovated in 2022 from the "Nikko Monkey Legion Theater," allowing visitors to relax amidst the adorable appearances of monkeys and various animals. On the main stage, skilled monkeys perform shows filled with laughter and emotion. Each year, exciting new programs are introduced, complemented by impressive lighting and sound effects, making it a must-see. Additionally, there is a "Sports Arena" where monkeys enthusiastically participate in soccer matches, and a "Baby Room" for close interactions with baby monkeys. In the domestic "Animal City," visitors can find cute animals such as monkeys, penguins, capybaras, and rabbits. There are two types of entrance tickets: one for watching the monkey performances only, and a general admission ticket that includes access to both the monkey park and Animal City. Experiences like interacting with animals and taking photos require an additional fee. The restaurant offers carefully selected Tochigi Prefecture ingredients, including premium beef and pork, with dishes supervised by a well-known Italian chef from Nikko, which are very popular among visitors.
