The 80-year-old soba noodle shop "Mizunai-an" has reopened after renovations in 2022, following the redevelopment of the Minato area. The restaurant features a total of 22 seats, including regular and counter seating, and is often packed with regulars and patrons who have just enjoyed a performance at the nearby "Suntory Hall."
The soba noodles are made from buckwheat flour sourced from Hokkaido, resulting in a smooth texture with a firm bite that goes down refreshing. The restaurant is dedicated to providing freshly made food, adhering to the flavors established since its founding. Lunch offers generous portions with a set menu that includes mini soba noodles and rice bowls. The most popular dishes are "Tempura Soba" and "Duck Dipping Noodles." Additionally, there are many toppings available, allowing customers to enjoy soba noodles to their personal preference.
The owner has also carefully selected a variety of rare Japanese sake, which pairs excellently with the soba noodles. The cheerful and lively owner greets customers with a smile, contributing to a steady flow of regulars.
